GOSECA is an organization dedicated to promoting the academic study and broader intercultural understanding of Russia, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia.

Our activities seek to increase cultural awareness and understanding of these regions through the organization of events open to all members of the University of Pittsburgh community and to its surrounding communities throughout western Pennsylvania. Our flagship event is an annual international graduate student conference on a topic chosen, after open debate, by the general GOSECA membership.
